Friends
Despite his very violent personality, Sam is very open to having friends. Whether it's someone who managed to get off on the right foot, or someone who can provide him with an entertaining battle. He welcomes the idea of rivals and competition, and would rather lean towards friendly rivals if possible. In any case, Sam is someone who is very loyal to the friends he has, and would die for them.
In terms of rivals, it can range from Pokemon battles, fist fighting, or gambling rivals.
Enemies
There are plenty of ways for Sam to make enemies. One easy way for him to make an enemy is for one of his jokes to have gone too far. He has a dark sense of humor, his jokes showing little regard for others, but are mostly targeted towards his situation. Another way is through the fights he has gotten into, especially if it ended with Sam pulling the knife or gun on the opponent. Though he enjoys getting into fights, he would only use these weapons is if it was in self defense, otherwise, he'd use his fists.
For him to consider you an enemy, an easy method would be to abuse one's Pokemon. As someone who loves Pokemon, and values the bonds he has with them, he is extremely intolerant towards abusing them. It's a good way for Sam to outright rush up to the person and attack them.
Sam is currently attempting to hunt down the person responsible for the deaths of his parents ten years ago. He plans on killing them. So if you want to play any part in this, whether the assassin themselves, or the person who hired them, lemme know.
Lovers
Sam is very nervous when it comes to the ladies. Which is quite odd, considering he does not hesitate to play a game with the potential to maim him. Though I will need time to flesh this part out, I am very open to suggestions. Post here if you have any ideas. Otherwise, he would be looking more for a long term relationship than a one night stand.
Other
I'm open to other ideas. At some point, he will be attempting to challenge one of the gym circuits.
