A Quick Pit Stop (Kim/Closed)

When Sam was in Goldenrod City, it was normally to visit the Game Corner. However, this evening was different. Sam was on his way to visit Saffron City, and was planning on taking the Magnet Train to his destination. But while he was in the area, he was going to take advantage of what the city had to offer him. After the necessary visit to the Pokemon Center, Sam paid a much needed visit to the city's department store, using it to restock on Pokeballs and medicine.

After he had purchased the necessary supplies, he proceeded to relax on the roof of the department store. After taking the stairs up to the roof, the trainer immediately got a lemonade from the vending machine. The trainer then sat down at one of the tables, and started to slowly enjoy the cold can of lemonade that had tumbled out of the machine. As Sam enjoyed his cold one, as it were, he watched the city from the roof of the department store.

Her small frame bumbles through the crowd and she's done a bit of shopping at the department store, given the shopping bag of supplies she clutches in one hand. Just a few more supplies for the trip, and treats for her darlings. Johto is pretty great, she decides, venturing up to the next floor and never coming out empty handed.

Nelly walks on all fours beside her, the only one they would permit to walk around in the store. She sports a handsome red bow around her neck, feeling quite proud of the new accessory. Looking her best is top priority, after all. She lightly prods her trainer at the ankle, and indicates her growing thirst. She might as well stock up, considering they're almost out of supplements as well. The rooftop is her destination.

Kimberly fumbles around, digging coins out from her pocket and punching the vending machine button, allowing the drink to fall out with a loud clang. Nelly punctures a large hole in the can and laps her lemonade happily, but Kim seems more interested in the loner on the rooftop. She doesn't speak, just sort of stares and wonders if he'll notice.
